Troglodytes aeon
A small, 5 inch bird that migrates to Virginia for the summer.
Males are brown with tan markings on wings and tail. A slightly curved bill with an upward cocked tail.
Females are the same as males.
Juveniles are the as adults.
House Wrens eat insects but occasionally eats suet and mealworms. They love to nest in nest boxes. The male chooses a few by placing sticks inside and the female decides the winner.
